We will not be receiving any COVID-19 booster vaccines. If you would like to receive one you can try your local pharmacy or the old Best Buy in Kingston.

Am I eligible for the Covid-19 Booster?

Who?
If you received a Pfizer or Moderna Series

• 65 years and older
• Age 18 + who live in long term care settings
• Age 18 + who have underlying medical conditions
• Age 18 + who work or live in high-risk settings

If you received a Johnson & Johnson vaccine:

• Age 18 +

When?

• At least 6 months after Pfizer and Moderna
• At least 2 months after Johnson & Johnson

Which booster should you get?

You may have a preference, but you can get any booster shot. We recommend you stick with the same booster as you received for the regular Covid-19 vaccine. (We do not recommend the Johnson & Johnson booster; we find the other booster shots more effective)

Medicare Yearly Wellness Visit consists of the following:

• A review of your medical and family history
• Developing or updating a list of current providers and prescriptions
• Height, weight, blood pressure, and other routine measurements
• Detection of any cognitive impairment
• Personalized health advice
• A list of risk factors and treatment options for you
• A screening schedule (like a checklist) for appropriate preventative services. Get details about coverage for screenings, shots, and other preventative services.
• Advance care planning

What is NOT covered by Medicare Part A and Part B:

• Most dental care
• Eye exams (for prescription glasses)
• Dentures
• Cosmetic Surgery
• Massage therapy
• Routine physical exams
• Hearing aids and exams for fitting them
• Long-term care
